Moving from Authy to 2FA. There's an issue where adding a 2FA entry incorrectly identifies the service being added. For example, both times I added a service where I'm using a Protonmail email address, 2FAS incorrectly autofilled the entry as being for OnMail. Edit: awesome, thank you. Not sure what kind of blockers prevent it, but I naming and icon selection should be handled automatically especially when the services exist in the database already.

I've been trying to de-google myself so I tried all the popular alternatives. 2FAS was hands down the best, miles ahead of Google. It has a great UI, the import worked flawlessly, and the backup is great, especially when syncing multiple devices. Being open source is also definitely a bonus. My only complaint is not having more backup alternatives - I would love to see Proton or even some other major players besides Google.

Tried various authenticators like Google, Microsoft, Authy, Aegis. 2FAS was the best one I've tried. Great UI, app options you can appreciate. Ease of backup, multi-device setup, importing from other authenticators. Their discord offers support if you have questions or need help. You can also change icons for accounts if it doesn't automatically. Lastly, it has a browser extension, which is great to have.
